It is funny but I always go away on holiday and come back with ideas of things to do with my house. A few years ago I decided to put a rockery in as I had seen one near to the place that I stayed and last year I liked the gas logs that they had at the place I was staying and got some for myself. This year it was outdoor storage that impressed me. We were staying in a bed and breakfast in a lovely farm house and they had lots of storage sheds that was nothing unusual but when I looked inside, instead of seeing animal feed and farm equipment, one of them had a train set laid out in it. I was really impressed because this was such a good idea. A train set benefits from being left out all of the time and so this would be able to be left out like this and would stay preserved and working well. It made me think that I should do a similar thing for my children’s ‘Scalextric’ set as they are always laying it out on the carpet and the fluff get in the wheels and taking it apart can damage it so easily so I will give it some serious thought.
